First Action specialises in electrical inspections testing for all types of residential and commercial buildings. We have over two decades of experience carrying out electrical safety inspections, and our team of engineers offer a broad range of skills across both the private and commercial sectors.
When should I book an electrical inspection?
All electrical installations should be inspected and tested regularly, to ensure they are safe for use. Once all of the relevant checks have been carried out, you will be issued with an electrical test certificate.
First Action covers Electrical inspection in areas such as Barking, Dagenham, Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Camden, City of London, City of Westminster, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Harrow, Havering, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Richmond-upon-Thames, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth and the rest of the subareas.
For homeowners, you should have your electrics tested every ten years, or for rented/tenanted properties it should be every five years. It’s up to the Landlord to ensure that certificates are kept up-to-date. An electrical inspection should also be carried out when buying/selling a property, or when a property is being let out for the first time. Additional tests are also required if your property is damaged with fire or flooding.
We provide professional NICEIC registered electricians. All of our engineers are fully qualified Part P 18th edition, and meet all legal requirements for carrying out electrical works safely and effectively. These accreditations give you the peace of mind that your electrical inspection will be carried out to the highest possible standard.
Electrical Inspection certificates
As well electrical inspection and testing, our engineers can issue electrical certificates which are required by law for landowners, business owners, or for anyone buying or selling a property. These certificates ensure that any electrical installations and appliances in the property are safe and in good working order.
