An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) assesses the condition and safety of the fixed electrical installation within a property.
For landlords, regular electrical inspection and testing helps ensure that electrical installations remain safe and compliant with current requirements.
Landlords covered by the Electrical Safety Regulations must have the electrical installations in their rented properties inspected and tested by a qualified person at least every five years, or sooner where a previous report specifies a shorter interval.
First Action Building Services can carry out the inspection, testing and certification required for your property.
During an EICR, we inspect and test the electrical installation to identify deterioration, damage, defects or other electrical safety concerns.

Once the inspection and testing are completed, you will receive an Electrical Installation Condition Report detailing the condition of the installation and any observations identified.
Included in the price: Inspection, testing and a digital EICR report. One consumer unit and up to 10 circuits.
Prices include VAT if applicable.
Additional charges: Additional circuits, extra consumer units, remedial work and any parking or congestion charges are quoted separately and agreed before attendance.
If an EICR identifies electrical faults or defects, First Action Building Services can also carry out the necessary remedial work.
Observations on an EICR may include C1 (Danger Present), C2 (Potentially Dangerous), FI (Further Investigation Required) or C3 (Improvement Recommended).
